Where’s the Party? A Guide to New Year’s Eve Deals and Events

Great hotels are made for New Year’s Eve. They host great parties and lavish dinners in rooms strung with holiday lights with live music and revelers wearing expensive cocktail attire and absurd hats. At the end of the night there’s a perfectly-made-up bed and black-out drapes. And in the morning, eggs and strong coffee at your door.

Here’s a guide to ringing in 2015 at Stash partner independent hotels from San Francisco to New York City.

New York, New York: The Strand Hotel

The party: It’s at Top of The Strand, a glassed-in 21st floor aerie with close-up views of the Empire State Building. The Strand Hotel is a couple of blocks from Times Square, so you can feel the energy of the famous ball-drop, but instead of standing behind a police barricade (one kind of fun), you’re accepting passed hors-d’oeuvres and fashion-district themed cocktails (Needles & Pins starts with cucumber vodka and egg white and gets better from there.)  Make a party reservation or get more info here.

The deal: Stash Members Only—Stay the night for 15% off, an upgrade, and double Stash points. Book here, and book fast, this is NYC on NYE!!

San Francisco, California: Serrano Hotel

The party: Belle of the Ball dinner cruise on San Francisco Bay. Three floors of dancing and a very cool vantage point for the midnight fireworks.

The deal: 2 tickets to the cruise (party), a beautiful suite at Serrano Hotel, New Year’s brunch for 2 at Jasper’s Corner Tap and Kitchen (coffee, mimosas, you’re gonna want it), free parking (which in San Francisco is a minor miracle), a surprise welcome amenity, and Stash points. This package already sold out once; Serrano Hotel re-created it just for Stash members.

Palm Springs, California: Riviera Palm Springs

Yes, that’s just the start.
