When you check into the Nittany Lion Inn, you get more than a heritage New England Inn experience. The on-campus location means you get access to everything Penn State has to offer from Big Ten football to the Palmer Museum of Art—and there’s a free, on-call shuttle to get you there and back.
The town of State College offers restaurants and a well-known live music scene—but when you’re ready to wind down, the Nittany Lion Inn’s library, verandas and lobby are calm and quiet spots for a cocktail.
For an elegant evening, try white-linen dining on Wagyu beef or wild sockeye salmon in the Dining Room. The pub is a lively, more casual setting, with an upscale college town vibe and a late night menu.

I just got back from a stay at the Inn. The staff is just excellent and I mean the entire staff from those you schedule your reservation with to the front desk staff, everyone is just great. I consider everyone at the hotel my family, because they are. If you need anything just ask. And the food id very good too.
